About Us

The Organization started back in 2018 as a Youth group aimed at spreading awareness to the Ugandan masses about different community issues such as Human Trafficking and ineffective leadership. These were done through door to door community campaigns, in partnership with Hope Senior School, Uganda Youth Development Link, Rahab Uganda and Uganda Police.

 

In 2019, Founding members of the Organization deemed it fit to Create content and spend a considerable amount of time coaching and mentoring Student Leaders, through Debates and Governorship Initiative (Mainly in Watoto Schools, in Mpigi District, Uganda)

 

In 2020, the Founding Members, having assessed the impact the Youth Group had caused in the lives of many Young People, plus the growing need for leaders who can effectively address Africa’s Biggest Social Economic Problems, decided to create a YouTube Channel (Roar Initiative Africa).  Through this channel, this dedicated Youth Group, led by Mr. Isaac Ssekisambu, made research and created Transformative leadership content and Posted Weekly Videos of the same.

 

This was however short lived due to the impact of Covid-19 that left the Country (On a lock down) making it hard for the group to meet and shoot Videos.

WHAT ZENJI MEANS

In 2021, The organization Restructured its Vision and Mission statements, and took on a new Name “Zenji” which is a phrase to mean Origin. Origin, comes from the Organizations desire to Groom Young people in to leaders.

 

From the Look of things, the leadership deficiency appeared to be a global problem, no longer just an African Problem as it had earlier been Perceived by the Founders. The Founder and Vision Bearer came to realization that a mistake made by a people of any part of the world impacts, the whole world.

 

This only means that, in order to be effective in mitigating problems of a certain region, a preventive global Mechanism is vital. Hence, Zenji Leadership Organization has taken it upon itself to Provide Exceptional Leadership Training (one week), Leadership Coaching (three Months), Mentorship (Nine Months) and Entrepreneurial Education (3 Months). All Young People (8-29 Year Olds), from every part of the world, without any form of discrimination on any grounds, are accepted to take advantage of the Free Sessions.
